About Tina Gleisner, Your Homeowner Champion
Got married, bought my first house and argued with the bank because I kept my last name, unheard of in the ’70s. Bought my second house two years later when my grandmother left me $2,000. So began my journey as a homeowner, owning up to 5 houses at a time and now living in house number 15! I expect to buy another house or two when things settle down.
My first dream was to teach but there were too many rules and computers were fun. Worked for IBM around the world until I was laid off six weeks shy of retirement due to executive greed … sound familiar? Done with corporate America, I started my handyman business. I had a steep learning curve and loved helping women understand the why behind home problems. I began writing emails summarizing our phone calls and today, I have thousands of articles on all aspects of home ownership.
My passion is helping women embrace home ownership with all the benefits it provides, including a safe haven for their family and themselves, plus it’s the best vehicle for building financial security and freedom.
